As of Friday we have collected almost all of the data to finally settle the tour for the cure. I am pleased to announce that we will be able to donate somewhere between 70 and 90 thousand dollars on behalf of the Dear Jack Foundation. In addition, Team Jack's has raised over 30 thousand dollars through the Light the Night Walks with more money still being counted. My thoughts on this are as follows: HOLY SHIT. I know it's a crass response but it's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of how many people pulled together to make the tour for the cure even more successful than I could have dreamed. To everyone who came out to these shows all I can say is thank you. There are also a handful of people that selflessly gave to the tour that deserve a thank you as well. Here goes the list; To my managers at sanctuary and my booking agency, APA, who donated significant portions of their commissions to help us reach and exceed our fundraising goals, to the promoters who discounted hall fees or donated portions of their profits back to the foundation, to everyone who threw a little extra in the donation jar at the merch booth and to every one of you who made a point to get involved with the light the night walks...you are all so generous and I am so proud to be a part of a community of people who are willing to take a moment out of their day to make a difference. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
Onto other news
The Panic tour is going great. It's been a lot of fun to play in these big arenas and everyone out here is blown away by the support we have been getting from our fans. I'm not surprised in the least as you guys have been there every step of the way, but it is awesome to see how shocked people are when they see Jack's for the first time and realize how passionate and large the turnout is. I must apologize for not being available at every show. Security is insanely tight as some of you have already found. I've been doing everything I can to meet people, but we are not allowed meet n greets on this tour and there are nights where they prefer we don't add to the post show chaos. That being said we will be playing a lot of these cities on our next headlining tour and we will certainly reinstate the sound check meet n greets. I'll have casper make them a little bigger on the next tour so we can catch up with those of you we missed on this run. To everyone who has been handing out the ATR/River samplers as well as those who have submitted their names to volunteer I could not be more appreciative. You are all so kind to take the time out to give me a helping hand. Lets see...what else have I forgotten. Ahh yes, the video submissions for La La Lie are looking awesome. Casper has been playing them for me and I'm so psyched to see how much work has been put into these. I think that about covers it for now and I promise after this I will get back to my usual more abstract blogs, but I couldn't move forward without taking the time to say thanks for everything you guys have done to make the last few months such a success.
Andrew
P.S. Dates will be popping up soon for our February "West Coast Winter Tour". We'll be playing a lot of the major markets that we had to skip on the "Tour for the Cure" and I really think you are going to like some of the things we have up our sleeves. Production is going to be bigger than ever and I am really thrilled about the opening acts that are joining us. Keep your eyes pealed, as dates will be up and on-sale over the next month or so. Thanks again.
I have to say that this is amazing! I am so happy that you are happy and that there is more hope now! I just bought my tix to Chicago so I will hopefully see you there!

I'm quite pleased to hear that the tour is going well! The band is amazing, as are the devoted fans. I wish I could attend a Jack's Mannequin show but I live all the way in Winnipeg, MB. If you get the chance, I would simply adore you if you could do a Canadian tour one of these days.
I can't wait to see the new video when it comes out! La La Lie is an incredible song.
Keep up the good work. You're making a big difference in the lives of others, and you're truly an inspirational artist.
Take care!

So im pretty much bummed the show is cancelled in slc utah tonight. I've been looking forward to it for the past 2 months. Please stop by Utah on your upcoming West coast winter tour. That would be swell.

Hey Andrew! I was at the Panic! concert in Philly on Nov. 19th and it was AMAZING... the best concert I've ever been to.. Don't get me wrong, I love Panic! but the whole reason I went was to see JM! It was the first time I've ever seen you in concert and it was just amazing.. I can't even explain it. Thanks SO much for the music you make. I hope you are coming this way again VERY SOON!!! Rochester/Ithaca/Syracuse area! I saw the pre-sale tickets were scheduled for Rochester but when I looked it wasn't listed! Perhaps they already sold out! :( Anyway have a great rest of the tour!
love, lindsey

I saw Jacks for the first time in Philly on the 19th and I have to say.. AMAZING! I've waited for what seems forever to see you guys and every second of waiting was worth it. I'm hoping to get back out to Philly in February for the West Coast Winter Tour! It'd be AWESOME!

Hey Andrew, I was wondering if I could get involved with your orginization. I have been looking for something to do and i had an idea, but I don't have any idea of how to begin something like it.
So if my plan fails, which it may very well do, I could really use your help on this one.
P.S. Punch kids have a new CD out... maybe you guys should tour again. I love all of you guys and steve is crazy.
peace and love

Andrew,
I went to the Denver show on Nov 28th, and I was so glad I finally got to see JM live. It was amazing! Jack's Mannequin the only reason I went. I waited out in the freezing cold while it was snowing trying to meet you, only to be told by security that no one was allowed outside. And now to learn that you're doing a headlining tour, I am ecstatic. I will definitely be at the Fillmore early.
Can't wait to see you,
Leah

You are amazing at what you do. I've seen you 10 times with something corporate and once with JM I must say out of all the shows I have been to you put on the best no matter how little or big the venue is it always has a welcoming feeling. I can't wait till your tour with the Audition. I will be there at the palladium where I first saw something corporate. That was years ago.

I'm not sure I'll be able to get through it without fainting.
Happy to hear funds are going great.
