As of Friday we have collected almost all of the data to finally settle the tour for the cure. I am pleased to announce that we will be able to donate somewhere between 70 and 90 thousand dollars on behalf of the Dear Jack Foundation. In addition, Team Jack's has raised over 30 thousand dollars through the Light the Night Walks with more money still being counted. My thoughts on this are as follows: HOLY SHIT. I know it's a crass response but it's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of how many people pulled together to make the tour for the cure even more successful than I could have dreamed. To everyone who came out to these shows all I can say is thank you. There are also a handful of people that selflessly gave to the tour that deserve a thank you as well. Here goes the list; To my managers at sanctuary and my booking agency, APA, who donated significant portions of their commissions to help us reach and exceed our fundraising goals, to the promoters who discounted hall fees or donated portions of their profits back to the foundation, to everyone who threw a little extra in the donation jar at the merch booth and to every one of you who made a point to get involved with the light the night walks...you are all so generous and I am so proud to be a part of a community of people who are willing to take a moment out of their day to make a difference. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
Onto other news
The Panic tour is going great. It's been a lot of fun to play in these big arenas and everyone out here is blown away by the support we have been getting from our fans. I'm not surprised in the least as you guys have been there every step of the way, but it is awesome to see how shocked people are when they see Jack's for the first time and realize how passionate and large the turnout is. I must apologize for not being available at every show. Security is insanely tight as some of you have already found. I've been doing everything I can to meet people, but we are not allowed meet n greets on this tour and there are nights where they prefer we don't add to the post show chaos. That being said we will be playing a lot of these cities on our next headlining tour and we will certainly reinstate the sound check meet n greets. I'll have casper make them a little bigger on the next tour so we can catch up with those of you we missed on this run. To everyone who has been handing out the ATR/River samplers as well as those who have submitted their names to volunteer I could not be more appreciative. You are all so kind to take the time out to give me a helping hand. Lets see...what else have I forgotten. Ahh yes, the video submissions for La La Lie are looking awesome. Casper has been playing them for me and I'm so psyched to see how much work has been put into these. I think that about covers it for now and I promise after this I will get back to my usual more abstract blogs, but I couldn't move forward without taking the time to say thanks for everything you guys have done to make the last few months such a success.
Andrew
P.S. Dates will be popping up soon for our February "West Coast Winter Tour". We'll be playing a lot of the major markets that we had to skip on the "Tour for the Cure" and I really think you are going to like some of the things we have up our sleeves. Production is going to be bigger than ever and I am really thrilled about the opening acts that are joining us. Keep your eyes pealed, as dates will be up and on-sale over the next month or so. Thanks again.
I am seeing you play tomorrow in Washington. I can't wait. You are such a strong and brave person. I look up to you so much.
Will you please preform at my wedding next year?

Hey Andrew!
Congrats on all of that money! I couldn't make it to the tour for the cure (sadness for me), but I saw you in Charlotte with Panic! and let me just say that you were awesome! I'd seen you four months earlier in Ft. Lauderdale, yet you continue to amaze me!! Thanks for everything!

Hey Andrew,
It's Kristine from Norwalk Middle school and I just wanted to tell you that you are my inpiration and that I suffer from a disease as well! Mine is called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. It causes tumors to grow on your brain, kidneys, face and other internal organs. Luckily, my condition is ok but I know alot of people who do have this. I want to be like you and raise money for cures and awareness! My sister saw you last year at the University of Toledo concert you put on at the flatlands and she said you were awesome! I can't wait until you come to the east coast again! Good Luck and no matter what, never give up there is so much life left to live!
